Open Trap Bar Handles
Different Open Trap Bar handles are a considerate way to address the needs of different lifters. If you have a smaller frame or want to lift using a narrower hand positioning, the Narrow Handles will work best for you. If you have broader shoulders or want more upper back and trap activation, the Wide Handles are perfect for you. The Standard Handles are standard and will work for all-sized lifters.
The narrow, standard, and wide handles all come in stainless steel. The Rotating Handles have three handles of different diameters to help train grip strength. They don’t rotate themselves, but the rotation is the carousel-style frame that allows a fast and uncomplicated switch between the handles. The Rotating Handles offer 28mm, 38mm, and 48mm diameter handles and feature a hard-chrome finish.
Open Trap Bar
You can add variation to your training with the REP Open Bar Trap. It has neutral handle placement that makes deadlifting less demanding when it comes to technique, while its open design allows a versatile range of movements like squats, lunges, and presses. The bar highlights an integrated deadlift jack that makes loading and unloading the bar easier, with plastic liners on the feet to preserve your floors. The jack also works as a counterweight to keep the bar wonderfully level.
The frame features a 6” section of medium-light knurling to add grip when squatting. The REP Open Trap Bar features knurled, stainless-steel handles, except the Rotating Handles, which are steel with a hard-chrome finish. You can choose from Narrow (23”), Standard (25”), Wide (27.3”), Rotating (24.6″), or get multiple handles to alter lifting angles and add versatility to your training. The bar’s sleeves are plated with hard chrome, a durable premium coating that holds up against sliding plates on and off.
