Let’s review the GR1 Rucksack from GORUCK.
Just in case you haven’t heard of it before, Rucking is walking/running with a weighted rucksack (backpack). It is the foundation of Special Forces training, but civilians like us can definitely go rucking as well. It burns 3x more calories than simply walking. GR1 Rucksack – Overview
GORUCK builds the best and the most premium rucking gear, and GR1 is the toughest everyday carry ever produced. There’s only one big compartment, another small in front, and the molle outside the rucksack blends harmoniously with the bag. The GR1 is not only for rucking. You can fill it up with your clothes and other things for a weeklong trip, or you can also conveniently put your office stuff like a laptop, notebook, charger, etc. For hiking, it can also accommodate your change clothes, water bottle, mobile phone, snacks, etc. The YKK zippers open and close smoothly with its silent, glove-friendly zipper pulls constructed from a parachute 550 cord.
It can fit a 17″ laptop with its large laptop compartment behind your back that has a false bottom so that when you set your ruck down, your laptop won’t even notice. The back of the bag won’t bend because it has an internal frame making the bag feels like a brick. The handle at the top is also durable and rugged. It has three internal pockets – one large elastic pocket, one large mesh zippered pocket, and one small go-to pocket. There are three rows of external and internal MOLLE webbing across the front and sides of the GR1, so you can customize it.
